This story was within 1928 with a particular young woman who was twenty-eight years old. In this part of the story, she will work as chaperone on Tilbury to Bombay run in return for half fare.
There she were, this lovely young woman was dreaming how her future husband would look like. While Sitting on her bed she felt that her feet were feeling cold remembering of what she went through to get all her clothes and accessories ready to go to India. A smile on her face but the sadness in her heart couldn’t stop her crying. The night before going to India, Froggie’s father came to her daughter’s room asking if she was all right and walked around the room. When he turns around she was shock to see her father cry. She never saw her father crying before. The day after was the day she had to leave a go to India where she would get married and meet her new husband. She in the other hand hardly knows the man she is gone get married to. Many people were part of that trip to India. Each of them has their own reason for leaving their homeland. Rose was anxious to leave her family the day before the fact that she barely know the man make her feel strange. Victoria her bridmaid was so happy than ever to be away from her overbearing mother and she is determining to find a husband. Viva their chaperone is in search of India of her childhood and any related family. They all had a purpose on this trip to get there and do what they have to do. In India viva glanced at Tor, who smiling at the party. She thought of water rushing by. They were ready to dance again.
